Run Club

Membership

Members of the >1 Run Club pay a $35 annual membership fee. Membership expires on December 31st of each year. Membership dues received after November 1st will apply to the remainder of the year as well as the next calendar year.
 
Membership fees include:
  • Weekend group runs hosted by Training Run Leaders
  • Periodic weekday evening runs
  • >1 Shoe Identity tag
  • >1 Run Club Membership Card
  • Quarterly clinics on topics such as nutrition, injury prevention, stretching, etc.
  • Discounts at participating >1 Partners
  • Invitations to >1 Socials and Events
  • Great incentives for those choosing to fundraise for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation
  • Personal fundraising page on >1 Website
  • Access to fundraising tools and templates on the >1 website
  • Group runs and training plan for specific running events throughout the year

Options, Options, Options.......

Run

Weekly 3-5 mile weekend runs and periodic weekday runs are posted on the >1 Event Calendar well in advance and include route information, location and distance for the run. There will also be an option for a longer run each weekend that will prepare members choosing to participate in the events mentioned below. Each run is hosted by a >1 Training Run Leader. Members should plan on bringing their own hydration and nutrition for each run. Guests are encouraged to join in on the group runs but must pay the membership fee once they have attended 2 group runs as a guest.

Fundraise

>1 Run Club members all receive their own personal fundraising page on the >1 website. Fundraising is optional for all members but we encourage them to create a fundraising goal. The fundraising goal can be associated with a specific event, multiple events, a yearly mileage goal or any other goal that the member chooses. We provide the tools and experience to help each participant reach their fundraising goals with easy to use online templates and support from a Participant Representative.
 
Members will receive the following incentives for their fundraising achievements:

Events

>1 Run Club members have the option to train for specific events throughout the year. In addition to the weekly 3-5 mile group runs, there will also be an option to participate in longer runs that build each week to the event. Members also have access to a training plan to help them reach their goal. Events will be added throughout the season and each member is responsible for securing their own registration for each event. Choose to participate in none, one, two or all of the 2010 events.
